Harbaugh’s Mistake, Baseball HOF’s Craig Muder, Sterling Ruling: JGST 7/30

It’s the latest edition of JG Sports Talk with your host Amiri Tulloch!

On today’s show, Amiri starts with why he thinks Baltimore Ravens coach John Harbaugh has been erroneously reserved with his public statements on running back Ray Rice, and how his mindset is similar to Roger Goodell’s.

Next, Amiri is joined by Craig Muder, the Director of Communications for the Baseball Hall of Fame. Craig explains the importance of the 2014 class for Cooperstown; the expectations for 2015’s class; and how the recent eligibility rule change actually works.

Then, Amiri switches to the NBA to discuss the ongoing rumor that Oklahoma City Thunder star Kevin Durant may leave the team in free agency next season. Tyler Candelaria, sports talk host and writer, gives his opinions on the future of Durant.

Switching back to MLB, Amiri talks with Matthew Orso, baseball author and writer, about the 2014 Trade Deadline. Matthew answers all the essentials: who’s going, who’s staying, who’s selling, who’s buying, and more.

Finally, Amiri wraps things up with the court ruling in the Donald Sterling vs. Shelly Sterling case. He shares information from a lawyer friend on the implications of the decision.
