JG Sports Talk host and founder Amiri Tulloch is on-site in Philadelphia today, where the 2014 Major League Ultimate championship will take place at 6:30 p.m. ET.

The matchup features the 10-1 Vancouver Nighthawks and the 8-4 DC Current. The game serves as the final contest of MLU’s second year in existence. The championship game takes place at PPL Park in Philadelphia, which is also the home of Major League Soccer’s Philadelphia Union.

DC will be without star and captain Alan Kolick due to a broken right wrist. Kolick is DC’s leading point scorer (51) and assist man (36). Vancouver’s star — rookie Brendan Wong — will look to continue his dominance on the season. He has 67 points on the season with 50 goals.
